a couple of weeks ago i went to the beach with siba, a side of nahoon we hardly visit. i discovered a nice pathway that leads to the beach that the surfers use to go in and out of the ocean, BUT in my WORLD it looked and felt like a pathway to a lighthouse. that was all that was missing, a giant beautiful lighthouse, the scenery would have been way past perfect. anyway i had to make do with what i had and siba took the most gorgeous pics (as he usually does)
i am wearing: jersey (thrift) | denim shorts (thrift) | boots (mr price) | rings (mr price)
oh and i did my hair a few days before that day. but to date i have had this hair for over two weeks (im so behind on my blogging, sorry y'all) Now that we've gotten that out of the way, lets get back to the post!
about two weeks ago i was asked to be the photographer for mck's shoot for their late summer range, and of course i said yes. it was an honor and also a great opportunity for me to potentially add on to my portfolio work.
Now if you are not familiar with this brand by now you should be ashamed of yourself!! i am here to school you lucky for you, so this is what you need to know. "MCK" stands for "Middle class kids" and it is a local emerging street wear brand, that caters to women and men. i love it because of how relevant it is to me, i mean im exactly that! a middle class kid, and proud of it. so don't get left behind, climb on up, and go on the ride with this brand because im pretty sure its going places.
im just going to show you some pics i got from their page, some of my fav pics that i shot, also i was convinced to be infront of the camera for a few shots, so i will show you that too. also some pics we took during the shoot while having drinks. enjoy!
(FYI my beautiful cuz ayanda was modeling for the shoot, she is BEST! so im sure you guys don't mind a double dose of her right?)
